So I got my new ball, Storm's Secret Agent a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that I really like the way it rolls. One of the centers I bowl at got new lanes and it works really well on those. It provides the type of reaction I was looking for on heavy oil. Yay!

League bowling last night. Was doing really well in practice, started out in my first game and it all sorta fell apart. I figured it out by the end of the first game and struck out with a hambone for a 162, which is still below my average. I was having a lot of trouble picking up my spares for some reason. Still not sure why, but finally I just said screw the spares, I'll just go for strikes lol I ended up with a 194 my 2nd game and a 234 my third for a 590 series, which put me well above my average. Maybe I should just adopt this theory everytime I play lol

So my Thursday night bowling center did a whole bunch of remodeling and in the process got brand new lanes. First time I have ever bowled on brand new lanes. It was... interesting. Forced me to change everything about how I normally bowl, which made it a good learning experience. I didn't bowl as well as I would have liked to, but not horribly overall. 152, 199, 152. Up and down night.

So last night was my Thursday Night league. I bowled a 200, 157 (oops) and a 192, hitting my average overall. That 157 game killed me (again). The thing that sucked about it was that I hit not one, but 2 pocket 7-10 shots. Fun part about it was that I almost picked one of them up. Cut the seven hard right to bounce off the back and it missed hitting the 10 pin by about a half an inch. Ah well. One of these days I'll get that conversion. :-)

So nothing big to report, but I did have a decent night tonight. Shot a 180, 203, 193. I'm happy anytime I bowl above my average :-)
